We had an absolutely wonderful time on our vacation, and the entire staff did a fantastic job in making our stay truly unforgettable. Our time at the restaurants was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for. Their thoughtful service truly elevated our entire stay. And the food, every single meal, was absolutely delicious from start to finish! A special mention goes to Ram, whose outstanding hospitality in the restaurants turned our dinners into something far beyond a 4-star experience. He made each evening feel extra special, and we’re incredibly grateful for his dedication and charm. I also have to mention the stunning beach right in front of the hotel. It’s by far the most beautiful stretch of coastline in the entire area. Crystal clear water, soft sand, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Mauritius is truly something special, a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. We would absolutely return to this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

Breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner were exceptional. There are 3 restaurants and they all offer different meal options. The food itself was top class and a big variety to choose from. Room view was amazing and we slept with the sliding door open for a nice breeze and the calming sounds of the sea. Bar and drink options were also fantastic. Any drink that you can think of - they can make it and it's nearly all included in the all-inclusive packet. We especially want to thank Diya - she recommended different drinks, made them and always had a smile when we approached. Diya was around during our stay, but we did not encounter one single staff member that was anything but helpful and friendly. Excursions is no problem to arrange. Dani and the excursion team is around the hotel reception during the day and they organize everything with a single phone call, no hicupps and even if there was, it was sorted within 5 minutes. Easiness of transport/taxi arrangement is also a must name. The hotel reception quickly arrange a taxi for you and the taxi drivers are all very friendly and helpful. WiFi is available all over the hotel, even certain spots on the beach. Exceptional staff!!! We can not thank and show our appreciation to the staff, as mentioned above, they were all extremely helpful and friendly - all the time. :) Activities at hotel are great, there are paddleboard, paddleboats, snorkelling gear, a water trampoline, volleyball and weekly activities running at the hotel. There is a scuba dive centre next door as well.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Kudos to that! There was also many safety signs. Thank you for hosting us Mau Lakaz.

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

The location and the amenities. The best wifi service i have experienced till date, even in 4star hotels are not that excellent. You get wifi in all corners of the house and even outside. The villa has all facilities and a very well maintained yard, back yard and beachfront and beautiful view, even backyard with the vegetables plantation view very pleasant to see people working in symmetrical vegetable plantation. Mr Ali and wife has made a nice villa for public to enjoy. Will recommend to others.

Salt of Palmar presents an unbelievable value-for-money experience. Despite missing one night due to flight delays, the remainder of our 4 days stay was nothing short of dreamy. The ambience of the hotel, the hospitality of the staff, the variety of water sports, the beach serenity and above all, the food offers, everything reeks of a 10/10 rating. We will definitely be back here! Special thanks to Dr Med, Melanie, Vikram, Roshan and many others who made out stay memorable.

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. It is located on the best beach on the island. The beach is good for swimming as the water is deep on that side. A nice breeze is also very pleasant. The room was big and has everything you need: bathrobes, slippers, mini bar with sweet and salty snacks, drinks etc. All inclusive package is fantastic, big variety of food and great drinks. The staff is very polite and kind. It’s more than value for money.
