I loved walking around the Municipal Market (Mercado)...so much to see and buy there Side trips to Valladolid and cenotes, and Xcambo and Xtampu were interesting and reasonably priced. I love the walkability of the old part of Centro Merida.
I love the walkability of the old part of Centro Merida. Lots of cafes and restaurants in all different price ranges. Some of the colonial buildings have been restored and some look like ruins which adds to the interest and intrigue. We mostly were either in the old part of Merida or on excursions to the beach or to a cenote or archeological site. There is so much to see and do and it is easy to get around by rental car. There are so many delicious restaurants too. Be sure to go to the Maya Museum!Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Mérida is always a great idea, there are many things to do, plenty of museums, cultural activities. The gastronomy is amazing, super good restaurants and interesting points.
