The breakfast was amazing continental breakfast cheese eggs yogurt fresh fruit salad coffee and fresh orange juice was amazing. The room was very clean, bathroom had amazing shower complimentary soaps and shower gel. Hairdryer was good. Living area in room had a coffee maker and the balcony was fantastic enabling me to sit outside and enjoy the view of the town and church. The staff were excellent in the main they understood my mediocre Dutch and could all understand English, and were very helpful. They helped me with local bus timetable to enable me with onward travel. The Al a carte menu and the snacks were brilliant. My family have visited this hotel for many years but not in awhile. It did not disappoint! A very restful stay thank you Dineke and the family and staff

Good size room that was very comfortable. Good ambiance overall, and Park & Ride bus facility at the doorstep to the city centre. This is my second time here and my good experience is consistent with the last time. Room was large, gym/fitness facilities (including a sauna) were great. Food was alright at the restaurant for dinner, but breakfast was not so great. It's not worse than most chain hotels in the Netherlands though (I rarely have great breakfasts at such restaurants - the Netherlands doesn't have a huge breakfast culture, so it's not surprising). Front desk staff were great. In particular, Keilab (I probably spelt his name wrong - young guy with a gold tooth) was fantastic. He was very friendly, patient and helpful, especially for a Dutch hotel (where service isn't always so impressive in my experience). I rate him 10/10 for his service, he should get employee of the year!

The professionalism of the staff, quality of the room and its location. This is a family owned and run hotel and their young staff are very energetic, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast next morning was substantial and delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We loved our stay here! We had a spacious bedroom (with comfy bed and pillows....thanks for providing the extra pillows), spacious bathroom and our own living room. Outside in the garden there is a large table where we could eat takeaways if we chose, however instead we made use of their two free bikes and cycled both nights 2 kilometres down the gorgeous treelined countrylane to the village where there are several excellent restaurants to choose from. The room is newly installed in the old barn part of the building, they have made an excellent job and made it look 'authentic'. They regularly hold garden tours, thats how nice it is. Super quiet. Breakfast is brought each morning on a trolly so we could eat when we wanted. Free parking. All in all a 10 out of 10!

The hotel is beautiful with free parking lot. The location is great as we can take the bus for around 20 minutes to Groningen center. Also we can go hiking with many different routes in the surroundings. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly. They also have restaurant and bar. TV has different channels with different languages (Dutch, English and German). Bed is comfortable.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was recently refurbished and was bright and cheerful. The breakfast was OK and the evening meal was really good with positive comments from all of our group. The hotel is situated in a lovely location with plenty of off road parking.
