The fjord is beautiful. There is hiking near by.
The fjord is beautiful. There is hiking near by. Activity business right in town. Food options are limited unless you are RV/Caravan travel. No need to travel Troll Road when you are able to get to the overlook/ tourist center to have a good look. There is a need to travel Troll road for access to the north to avoid a long circle drive.

The lodge was very comfortable and in a great location.
The lodge was very comfortable and in a great location. The host was exceptional and answered so many of our questions about the area.
Because it was out of season, Valldal was very quiet and there was only one place to get an evening meal. That was the only downside.
The views from the waterside were amazing.
