Great location, central cbd, close to everything. Warm welcoming service on arrival by front office staff helps a lot. Rooms clean and comfortable. Cleaning service was great by Josh. Option for Green Eco was also a great initiative - $10 voucher to use on F&B. Great value for money. This is the second time we have stayed here in a month & would stay again.

FAQs about hotels in Auckland

Thrilling City of Sails and Volcanoes

Called the 'City of Sails' due to the large number of yachts anchored in Waitemata Harbour, Auckland is the largest city of both New Zealand and Polynesia. Built on the Auckland Volcanic Field featuring about 48 extinct volcanoes, this city truly offers a blast!

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of the Viaduct Harbour.

Another must-see is the tallest free-standing tower in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sky Tower. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can even perform the Sky Jump, a controlled base jump from 192 metres!

Climbing the volcanic cones as well as the stunning Auckland Harbour Bridge will provide unforgettable, panoramic views of the city’s skyline. For a different perspective, why not try a cruise or sea kayaking?

Getting to the city centre is an easy trip from Auckland International Airport. Find modern hotels, comfortable motels and cheap hostels on Booking.com, sure to have the perfect accommodation for your holiday.

The purpose of our trip was to visit new (6 month old) grandaughter. Not being to familiar with our way around I found driving to be a bit of a challenge. Therefore it was not a holiday destination in the traditional sense.

Driving in Auckland is very stressful.

Driving in Auckland is very stressful. Auckland drivers are a chapter on their own. Getting to and from sights and attractions in your own car is rather tricky. Parking is another big problem. We went to the zoo this time and found it quite lovely with interesting displays, although a lot of the animals, especially the native ones, weren't visible as they are either camouflaged or in hiding. But we saw a real kiwi in action. Cafes within the zoo are well prices. Plenty of shopping malls. Auckland museum is also a great place to explore.

Awesome place to visit, Green, cosmopolitan and vibrant.

Awesome place to visit, Green, cosmopolitan and vibrant. Plenty to do and see and you don’t have to spend a fortune to do it either. Physically a host of scenic attractions from beautiful coastline to extinct volcanoes! A great mix of old and new architecture too. The people are very friendly and surprisingly if something isn’t available in one shop they are happy to point you in the direction of another to help you out! You miss Auckland at your peril

We are from Nelson. So, the Auckland CBD is always a treat. We loved our son's favourite Chinese takeaway outlet. He'll be coming home for good today, because he has graduated from university, while we were there. We hope to return, and when we do, we'll stay at your property.

I lived in Auckland for forty years before moving to the Bay of Plenty. I come regularly to visit family and friends. Quest Queen St was a great central location and I would use it again. Eateries in the location were not easy to find. Also, regrettably, the number of homeless people with issues on the street from early evening is quite difficult for a woman on her own. I fee very sorry for these people. Hopefully the Council and welfare organisations can help with this problem. It is a safety issues and one which does not endear Auckland to strangers and tourists. I found Uber very useful.

Great place- I would happily stay again. Staff were so lovely and super helpful. Really comfy beds, clean rooms, quiet, good location that's walkable into the city (<40mins walk to Aotea centre) and free parking on sight. Although I ended up not using them, I appreciated that there was a gym and pool. Importantly I also loved that it was airy with big opening windows- so much better than most of the stuffy city high rise hotels. Definitely the best place I've stayed in Auckland, thanks :)

This has become my favourite accommodation after being left stranded at Auckland airport with nowhere to go, all the nearby hotels fully booked hanging up on us, and in this one, we rang and we were met by the loveliest lady, even when the phone was ringing off the hook, she remained calm, kind and so efficient! She made a horrible night become a pleasant stay, with cozy beds and an impeccable room. 10/10!!!

best reasonably priced quality hotel in vicinity of Auckland airport. Room is spacious and a bit funky (in a good way). Restaurant and bar is pretty good (though drink prices are high). Always a handy option for staying the night before heading to the airport. Now charges $10 for overnight parking but when you see what is the norm for parking at hotels, this is a bargain.

Clean, comfortable and modern. Cannot fault it for an Auckland transit. The lady was so lovely and offered me a late check out as I arrived at 3am. Best value of all hotels in airport vicinity

This is a typical airport hotel. It is located a few kms from the airport, and near the motorway. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and easy access to the major routes out of Auckland.
