Merrill was amazing, what a fabulous place she has. Very rustic but super comfortable. We loved our cabin, bed so comfy and cosy. Shower and loo block very clean and well equipped, extra towels everywhere. Kitchen and dining area was fantastic, well equipped and clean, everything there and for use. Lovely to sit in lounge area after dinner and read. Merrill was very friendly and helpful. She told us loads about area and where to go. Such an enthusiastic lady, she made the place even better. Would definitely go again and would have stayed longer if we had time. Loved the location. Scenery great. River beautiful.

The house is a beautiful, spacious and well equipped. It also is very well located to access Lake Manapouri in around 2-3 minutes by foot. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying there!

A lovely place to stay with lots of history and character. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, pub with food across the road and only a short walk to the harbour for Doubtful Sound cruises. This was a really good place. Everyone was very friendly and helped me very good with whatever needed. They try to make it a home and not just a camping. I stayed at their other site too Postum Lodge and had the same feeling. Good people. And very cute houses to stay.
