This is quite simply one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. Harold House has been restored to immaculate condition. When we arrived, we spent ages simply wandering around marvelling at these gorgeous, well-appointed rooms and all the fascinating heritage features and items. The location is very convenient in Reefton township, but also quiet. If you are visiting the West Coast, I highly recommend staying here; we wished we had booked longer—in terms of accommodation, it was the best of our entire road trip around the South Island.

Excellent property with kitchen bathroom and 2 bedrooms and a hall. Kind owners managing the property. Clean. We reached late and the town eateries had closed. The owner shared their food with us after learning about our situation.
