The owner is new and he did try to right problems we had. The mattress on one bed was too soft and he had a new one brought in within 2 hours. The TV wasn't working and the staff was able to correct it. The complimentary breakfast was supposed to start at 8AM but the chef didn't show until 9:30AM after they tried every which way to contact him.

The Reina Congo was a great room with a balcony on the water. Food @ the Restaurant was very good. Jose @ the reception was fantastic. Also, the restaurant staff were courteous.

Excellent hosts, amazing location, nice homemade breakfast and dinner, lovely surroundings in the middle of the rainforest and with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching monkeys from our balcony and seeing Ramon the sloth. Appreciated the recommendation for horse riding and for dinner at the nearby marina. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Location has a boat dock, and an outside captain that can do snorkerling trips. It also has a little beach area where you can swim. The hotel has it's own diving boats and tours, so you can book with them directly for trips. There's an unused bar right on the water, so you can enjoy your drinks there. Room was clean, comfortable, and had enough beds for all of us. Sitting on the porch, you can relax listening to the waves and cool off from the ocean breeze. Staff was very friendly, and the managers speak English. The dining area has breakfast and dinner options (didn't stay long enough to find out about lunch). Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. There's also another very good restaurant about 3-5 minutes walking distance away if you prefer to go there instead. I believe there's a police station nearby, so we were not concerned about safety/security. I liked that the managers gave you the option of late checkout when nobody is booked on your departure date, they're very accomodating.

Ciel y Miel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Colón. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.

It's a beautiful place to just relax. And very close to many other attractions. Just up the road, hope in a boat, and head off to an island and snorkel. Exallent host!

The property is secluded and part of the natural reserve. Surrounded by trees that hosts multiple species of birds and monkeys in the morning. It is a short walk to a calm Carribean beach. You need to explore to appreciate the full beauty of the area. The property is complete with everything that we needed to have a great family vacation experience.
