Joanna and her husband were the absolute loveliest and most helpful hosts. We stayed before the Choquequirao hike and Joanna gave us a thorough briefing and answered all the questions we had. We had spent ages doing research online but Joanna was all the preparation we needed. The views of the mountains are amazing. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. We relaxed in the hammocks after the hike. I can't recommend it enough!

Amazing location looking out at the impressive Salkantay peak. Million dollar view from your room. Very quiet and welcoming. Wonderful breakfast and very hospitable hosts. Amazing night sky, you can see so many stars.

El Peregrino was an oasis of peace inside the tumultuous Abancay. The hotel itself is very clean, roomy, convenient and its staff friendly and professional. The restaurant and food is top notch, however the complimentary breakfast was somewhat scarce.
