Wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful owners, adorable pets, the cute Llama follows the owner like a dog. We stayed 3 days in the clean and cosy rooms and enjoyed netflix, the animals, the landscape, did a daytrip to Chavin and Hatun Machay. Very relaxing. Meals were great, too. It was cold at night in August due to the altitude, but blankets where thick and cosy and hot water 24h available

This hotel is amazing for people that like a quiet place to stay, close to nature, with local and warm people. Eva and Ivan are exceptional and received us very well, they are always available to help and share experiences. It felt like home. The breakfast is delicious and different each day. The rooms are spacious with a nice view. Next time in Huaraz I will definitely stay there again.

In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.

Everything! We had such a beautiful stay at San Sebastián. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They attended to our every need. Special mention to their chef who made us tasty breakfasts every morning and prepared us packed lunches for hikes and room service in the evenings when we were exhausted. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of Huaraz with beautiful common areas and balconies to sit outside and enjoy a drink. It was our favourite hotel in Perú so far!
