Beautiful city. I had the oportunity to visit the Museum of the Book dedicated to the great Romanian intellectuals of the exile, and also the Museum of History, with wonderful explanations about the history of Oltenia. Looks like a good city for this region of Romania. There were some great buildings, of course some of them were in bad condition. Some were renovated and were looking really good. The city center is great, the Christmas bazaar was really cool, there were lights everywhere and it was beautiful. Can't recommend any transportation as we decided to walk being close to the city center. It is a city to visit! Especially in December, during the Christmas festivities. Keep in mind that in December, during the weekends it is crowdy. So you better go there between Christmas and New year. Everything is in Rumanian and we couldn't meet even one person spiking English. So, be careful what kind of questions you are asking, as the answer will be just a lie, because they do not understand and answer Yes to everything. I was there for the Christmas market which is done every year and is one of the quite famous in Europe. I am glad I got the chance to go and visit. The whole city Christmas decoration was quite impressive. In the weekend can be a little hectic for most people taste so if you have the opportunity go in the center and enjoy the show between Monday and Friday.Guest review byValeriBulgaria

The whole hotel is very artistic and creative. The reception smells awesome, the room was cleanand warm and cozy and beautiful and the staff very friendly and polite. A huge advantage the parking spot as it is impossible to find something in the nearby area. You can pre-order what'd you like for breakfast and I have to say that I loved the orange juice.
