We liked everything about Villa Bella. It was clean, new, and spacious (only 2 apartments in the house, so we had the whole upper floor), balcony is huge so you have 2 sitting areas with an amazing view since the beach is right across the road. The villa is not in the touristy part (just the way we like it) but the bus stop is a few meters away and the bus goes straight to Victoria. There is also a mini market not even 5 minutes away (walking) and also a really good takeaway right next to the store (but it is open only from 10am - 1.30/2pm). The kitchen is fully functional AND they have oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper for you to use which is really nice. They are also huge on security so there are gates to the property and an alarm system in the villa. Not that you need it but as they say better to be safe than sorry. Marie-Helen and Jean-Marc are amazing hosts, really nice and fast to respond to any wishes that you might have.

Everything was wonderful, very clean,the manager helped us with everything we needed, including offering to drive us shopping.The location is a little difficult, being at the top of a hill, but it compensates with the panorama.Because we had a flight in the evening, we were given a room where we left our luggage and where we took a shower before leaving. Close to the airport. Good quality-price ratio. Definitely recommend.

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches...

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We were received by the owners and Ermma. So helpful and welcoming. The air and was so good as was local cusine and we can say we left feeling healed and restored. The inspiration we carry with us. We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I really enjoyed Praslin - I had stayed 6 days in Praslin and 5 in Mahe. If I ever come back (i would love too) i would stay only one day in Mahe and the rest in Praslin. I brought my own coffee, the supermarkers are available but tehy had only nescafe, the available products are imported and expensive compare to Europe(butter, bear, bread and so one). It worth renting a car right from teh boat - if you are nor tired (They drive on the left side !!). Taxi is extremelly expensive and not available - for teh New Year we call two number , did not get any answer so we went using the renting car). You need a car and in my opion public transportation is not a solution. You can pay with car almost everywhere except for taxi (I used Revolut) so you do not need a lot of cash in rupees. Some restaurant they charge you also for service on the bill 5% or 10%. Best Beach Four Season Good restaurant Green House Le duc - Praslin Le repaire- La digue

A impeccable newly established resort that had a nice and neat and tidy feeling. Room gives off a very clean and luxury mood with refined design. I never experienced such powerful and cool air conditioned facility. Staff are not only kind but also very professional and considerate. I visited major curry restaurants with good review in this island spending 10 days in Seychelles, but curries in dinner menu in this hotel was the best which made of luxury spices beautifully mixed with fresh octopus and job fish. so we had dinner twice here.

Soul is a very hospitable host. We have received an apartment on the ground floor, very well equipped, with an amazing view over Anse Royale. The bed and pillows were comfortable, AC was working perfectly. Location is close to supermarkets, fish market, few take aways(the best one IMO, Sega just across the street), bus stop, pharmacy etc. Soul even let us check out later due to late flight back which we appreciate a lot. 100% recommend and will stay again if someday in Seychelles.

Good people, with warm Hearts We felt Like a Part of Family. The mother brang my wife a warm soup, because of sickness. The eldest son savio give me very good advices, with people in Seychelles. They cooling my beer, without asking. The young Cat Daisy, stay the whole night in our rooms, for helping my wife, to get Well soon. The father Robert " the rabbit" brang us to Airport. He has to Stand Up very early.

phenomenal all the way, from the structure itself (airy, bright, cozy, modern, with a magnificent sunset view), to the staff (from the brilliant Lenny to the cleaning ladies and the gardeners) and the overall approach (lighthearted and welcoming).
