The restaurants were excellent we had a sushi boat WoW next to the comfort inn Supper time lots of food choices in town shopping was good walked around shopping lots of verity could not be better!!! 👍

We only come to Mattoon to visit family, otherwise, the city...
We only come to Mattoon to visit family, otherwise, the city has absolutely nothing to offer. The only big store in town is Walmart. The city has nothing to offer for children, you have to travel to Decatur 40 miles to a water park.

Comfort Suites was not a good choice. Pick another Hotel/Motel.
The town was very ordinary. Nothing to draw you there. We came for Arthur, IL, and had to stay in Mattoon because Arthur Motels were fully booked.

Bagel fest was nice. Softball complex was great.

Airport resturant was very good food and service. Reminded us of a 50s cafe. Enjoyed it.
Honeybees resturant was very good food
Would highly recommend both places to eat.
Would gladly return to each establishment again.

Very old hotel. Room walls thick. Newer owners are working towards improvements. Bed was very comfortable. Center area has indoor pool (not operational yet), mini golf & nice social area. Much potential & uniqueness are possible!

Rooms are clean, hotel was quiet, staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good. Pet friendly hotel with no pet smells or scents trying to cover them up. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, guess same for the all hotels of this type in US :-D I was there for business so good to have restaurants & shops close by, Hotel was confy. Helpful staff and no-fuzz free parking.

We checked in really late from our travels from Florida to Mattoon and the lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.
