There were many restaurants drugstore within walking distance. Mall not far and I felt safe at Baymont Hotel. Mc Comb is family town and my roots are their so it feels like home to me. People Black's and whites are for the most part kind people.

The room was very clean. The food is ok. The fruit needs to be fresher. The best food was grits, sausage and biscuits. I would avoid the eggs because they are powdered eggs not fresh eggs. The Mexican Bar & Grill within walking distance, has very good chicken street tacos and service was very good too. The shopping area on the opposite side of the highway is easy access to Walmart, Belk, Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are several fast food places. There is a seafood restaurant across from the shopping area. Overall the trip was excellent.
