We loved the vibe of this old hotel, set in a wonderful garden. The staff were a delight, especially the manager and the landscape was transfixing, kinda like an extension to the garden. The walks from the hotel are magical and the fynbos are really quite special. Our room opened out onto a courtyard, so you felt quite independent of the rest of the hotel, which was there when you needed it.

A comfortable well run hotel close to the border with Namibia. Room was excellent with a very large window framing a beautiful view. Food, especially dinner is to be highly recommended. In spite of the heat we enjoyed walking a few of the trails in the large hotel grounds.

Beautiful hotel set in a stunning grounds. The walks on the estate were wonderful and clearly indicated. The view from the viewpoint (walk or drive to it) should not be missed.
I loved waking up to the wonderful view.

This is a heritage nature reserve, that offers tranquility and beautiful natural surroundings. A pristine landscape and awesome views! The friendly hotel staff, are like family members : warm and welcoming.
