Having previously stayed at Tamarind Hill I knew we would be happy with our stay. However we were delighted to be upgraded to The Admirals Suite which was a wonderfully comfortable historic space with antique furniture.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's.

There are not many properties where all points you can give are actually not enough, but the Sergeant House is such a place. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom-Villa with our kids and had a fantastic time. It’s literally impossible to say what we have enjoyed more, the attention given to us by the staff or the amazing property. We are definitely looking forward to repeat this experience again.

The property is a haven in Unawatuna! Situated on the beach, our beach suite had everything we could have asked for: Direct access to the private beach, jacuzzi, loungers and a private pool. The staff were amazing and Lalith and his team at La mer restaurant made our stay memorable!

Beautiful compact property with direct access to the beach. We were a family of 8 booked into the 2 bedroom sea room and the founders suite … it was fantastic. The founders suite was value for money with the sheer size for everyone to hang out together + the private pool. The food was amazing.
