This is an exceptional hotel, quite old fashioned but in a wonderful, luxery way. You have every modern comfort but in an individual setting seldom to be seen. We simply loved it. Hopefully, the hotel won't change too much with a new proprietor.

The lodge is a hideaway in the middle of a small town. Its very nicely decorated, the rooms have a fireplace, beds are comfy, coffee and scones were delivered to the rooms in the morning, staff was very nice and supportive - we did not want to leave, next time will stay more than one night.

Located in charming Morro Bay, one block from the waterfront, this hotel offers close proximity to the area's restaurants, shops and galleries as well as luxurious accommodations and services.

The hotel was excellent and the checkin was super easy. I arrived a little bit later but all was in hand. The room I had was very large and comfortable. There was even a fire in there should I have needed it. The lady at checkin was lovely and was good to chat to giving me some food recommendations. I liked the fact that the parking was right outside.
