The location is very convenient and there are many restaurants/bars/cafes around the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant (Helena’s restaurant) and it was fantastic. All staff are super friendly and professional. Their valet parking service is convenient. Breakfast was also amazing and we really enjoyed staying here.

The Bonne Esperance is located in a Victorian guest house, 7-minutes walk from the University of Stellenbosch. It has free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool and a wrap-around veranda.

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Fiona is such a lovely person and we loved hearing stories and sharing many laughs. The room was very spacious and well appointed. This was my second time staying at Spier and I loved it just as much. The whole estate is beautiful and you should definitely book a wine tasting and try their food/restaurants, too. The "hotel" consists of charming little houses with spacious and cozy rooms with large, bright bathrooms. One of our highlights was the huge breakfast buffet!

The environment is beautiful, calm, and quiet. The room and bathroom are extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious. The staff is excellent. We arrived at night, when the front desk was closed, but we had been informed that we would be welcomed by the security guard, and everything went perfectly!
