The spa area features colours, fragrances and sounds, which are designed to make you feel close to nature. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a rough travel day and they were all too happy to help us with a reservation in the restaurant and help us both relax. Dinner was delicious and the Peafowl was especially flavorful. The selection presented many local options for different tastes. I only wish we had the energy to stay up for dessert! The bathtub- top notch. While we spent only one night on the property, we fully enjoyed our room and the breakfast the following morning. The chef managing breakfast was very attentive and spoke English with great humor. This hotel is a must stay for the staff and quality of care. I hope very much to return.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. After a very warm welcome, we entered the apartments. They look even better than on the pictures, and have very nice ambiance, that perfectly matches the black forest. We had a 2 day stay only to visit the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhaussen, Triberg and Feldberg (for some snow). The town nearby (900m) has a nice supermarket. Our host offered to bring fresh buns every morning, which is a good start of the day.
