We chose to eat at the pub but you could bring your own supplies if you plan to stay a while.

Just 45 metres from the beautiful riverside, the hotel features its own French bistro. This place has had a serious re vamp . Having visited many times over the years there must be a recent change in management as the hotel has returned to its original superb level of hospitality. The staff are fantastic on every level and the rooms which have recently been refurbished are of a very high comfort level . Very good stay and highly recommended

Grown Alchemist toiletries and bathrobes are included. Other features include free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, a flat-screen TV and touch-activated mood lighting. Loved the decor, very extravagant and comfortable too

The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features. Quirky, olde world, very comfortable, interesting. Every staff member we came across were friendly, polite, very helpful and professional. We ate an evening meal and breakfast the following day, good menu choices, fair prices and all the dishes we chose were cooked and presented perfectly.
