From the moment I arrived the staff were super friendly and helpful, in every area of the business; security, baggage staff, reception, cafe, all really nice people. The venue is very beautiful, especially when dressed for Christmas, and the staff all wear beautiful uniforms. I actually got incredibly sick on my last night and I couldn't have asked for more help and support from the night receptionist - she deserves a medal as I was in tears. She called the doctor, had some meds driven over for me, had things brought to my room and when I checked out even asked if I needed her to call anyone at home because I was travelling alone and about to take a long flight. I'm sure this goes above the usual 'check out checklist'. Really comfy beds, a great shower, also and delicious food, we even had an Indian flute player for breakfast one day!

The front of the hotel is on a busy highway but the back opens onto a residential area. The restaurant was extremely clean and inviting. We ate there all 3 nights that we stayed in the hotel. The food was excellent. The location is convenient to the bus station and railway station (short ride with a tuk tuk). The market area was also within walking distance. A very nice hotel for the money.
