Offering private parking, the bed and breakfast is 800 metres from Castello Maniace. The property is 300 metres from Cala Rossa Beach, and within 70 metres of the city centre. Paola was welcoming us with a cooled bottle of water and the best tips on where to eat in Ortigia. The room we booked was great, shabby-chic with lots of trinkets, making it feel quite unique. Especially the shower had a very cool look and great water pressure. It also has a nice breakfast place and the probably Sicily's greatest granita shop right next door.

Every room comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Some rooms offer views of the square, and some overlook the garden. The location is amazing, the bedroom is big and clean and the staff is super kind!

Set on Ortigia Island overlooking the Ionian Sea, Algilà Ortigia Charme is right on the seafront. It features elegant, air-conditioned rooms equipped with antique furnishings from the 1700s. WiFi here is free. We loved every minute of our stay. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, the staff are very kind, professional and helpful. Our beautifully decorated suite was a haven of comfort . I cannot reccomend the Algila Charme Hotel enough. If I could give it 1000 stars I would.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. The B&B is conveniently located to everything on the tiny island of Ortigia. Most rooms (including ours) are bright and well-decorated with lovely terraces overlooking the largely pedestrian street. Simple breakfasts (croissants, fresh orange juice and coffee) were served just outside the B&B at an adjacent cafe under the same ownership. The owner was very friendly, helpful and accessible.

Palazzo Artemide - VRetreats is in the heart of Ortigia Island, next to the Cathedral. It offers free lobby Wi-Fi and modern, air-conditioned rooms.

The "Amunì Cocktail Bar & Restaurant" serves new and traditional Sicilian recipes. Drinks are served at the bar and can be enjoyed in Piazza Minerva square. Fantastic location, great amenities, lovely bright room, great light in the bathroom too. Staff were super helpful
