We were kindly given a tray of breakfast in our room the night before. There was a lovely roof terrace off our room with really comfortable seating that we were not expecting. The girl who greeted us and looked after us was exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful.

In 5 min walking you cross one of the doors to the historical centre and also the walls, so location is excellent. Also, private parking was extremelly convenient. Breakfast was excellent with fruits, fresh bread and croissant, juice, charcuterie, cheeses, egg. Very complete breakfast. Everyone there is very nice! And if I go back to Lucca I will stay there again.

Situated in the centre of Florence, Palazzo Martellini Residenza d'epoca features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. I booked the big room at Palazzo Martellini for our family of four mostly because of the location and price. I couldn't be happier w/ our room or the staff. The room is amazing for two reasons 1) size and 2) the original Renaissance era fresco on the ceiling. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I had difficulty finding the place (we were driving) and Giorgio was very calm and helpful despite the fact he had to stay late on a Saturday evening. And finally the breakfast was fantastic. The best pastries I've had in Italy.

The flat was spacious,it had well equipped kitchen,spacious living and eating area,nice size bedroom, it had huge balcony facing the backyard of the building. We stayed 2 nights in room on second floor. I guess it was room 201. We did all of the Florence activities on foot. The flat is only about 15-20 minutes from the center. Having the opportunity to park your car there and cover everything by walking was a huge plus for us. You've several grocery stores 10-15 minutes from the flat,fantastic La Farina pizzeria in the same building located on street level. Very friendly staff to help and explain you everythin.you need to know.. Our receptionist Laura ? was very nice and friendly,so was the guy in reception next day I guess his name was Vitalij. We strongly recommend this place if you're in Florence for more then a day and want to have all the comfort of not a hotel room but the whole apartment with all the amenities
