Aliya Resort’s 96 rooms all come fitted with stylish interiors, a wardrobe and a sofa seating area. The spacious en suite bathrooms feature a stand-alone bathtub and free bath amenities. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided as well. The view is outstanding. The hotel reception is perched on top of stairs with breathtaking view of the rock. The swimming pool also has an amazing view. Loved the vibe of the hotel, the room was very nice (nicer than i expected from the pictures!). The staff was very nice. We had buffet dinner and buffet breakfast and were very satisfied. The location is good, close enough to the rock to do it at sunrise then come back to the hotel to enjoy a nice breakfast.

Very nice pool, clean hotel, great staff, there was live music the day we were there which was a great addition, the staff in the restaurant and all around the hotel were amazing, very courteous and helpful. This place is one of a kind in Sigiriya.

A garden view, air conditioning, and an en suite with a rain-style shower or a bath are standard in all rooms. Dambulla Rock Arch extras include a desk, bed linen, and towels. The best guesthouse I have EVER stayed in and therefore deserves a lot of compliments. Well- equipped - almost everything you needed has been thought of by the host. It came with a touch of class and luxury too. Felt like at least a 4 to 5-star room. The room was spacious. The room was separate from the main bungalow and was therefore very private. The location was also excellent - near the main streets with shops and yet off it so that it was very quiet. Well done Rock Arch!

Enjoying stunning scenery in the Sri Lankan countryside, Ashburnham Estate offers Sri Lankan cooking classes, a guided tea estate tour and an on-site 40-foot waterfall. A real highlight of our trip. Beautiful property in a stunning location, great rooms and beds, exceptional service and great meals.

Located within a 10-minute drive from Dambulla town, the property is also 25 km from Sigiriya Rock Fortress and a 3.5-hour drive to Bandaranaike International Airport. Great stay, Mr. Nish and his team went out of their way to take care of us. The food was excellent, we even extended our stay by a night!
