The kitchen facilities were excellent. Lovely natural materials were used to build the units. There also was a very nice outdoor space.

From the reception by Dulce (she wears very well her name), to the room service by Esmeralda, and general attendance by Antonio, Fede y Sergio… all was just perfect and very friendly. We felt like we were home. Our room (#4) was clean, nicely decorated and very functional. Beauty kit was replenished every day, same with freshly grounded coffee. The rooftop is a nice and calm place to exercise, relax and/or work. Breakfast was offered between 08:30-10:30 with a mix of fruits, healthy granola and seeds supplemented by a rotating daily freshly cooked surprise from the local Oaxacan cuisine ; what a treat!!

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. The place is small with only a few rooms but with a lot of charm. The bungalows have everything you need, they are super clean (cleaned daily), a nice fan to stay cool during the night, a comfy bed and they are immersed in a nice green garden for privacy. The Yogadeck(no Yogaclasses tho), which is public offers nice hammocks and there is a small cozy pool for a dip after the beach! The owner is very helpful, always available and nice:) The price is super for what you get!

The rooms here will provide you with a TV and air conditioning. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with towels. Extras include a safety deposit box. Best location. The ac was a little bit noisy.

We liked everything, the people who run it are incredibly professional and cannot do any more for you, which feels pretty unique. The community feel at the common areas is palpable and makes your stay much more welcoming/shareable (you're not a stranger in a big hotel). The location is unmatched. Close to all cool places of interest but at the same time not noisy.

Casa de Siete Balcones Hotel Boutique is located between Zócalo Square and Santo Domingo de Guzman Church, in Oaxaca’s historic centre. It offers elegant air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV, and free Continental breakfast. Very charming building with careful thought for decoration! Once inside it felt like we were not in the middle of the city. The staff was incredibly nice and thoughtful.

Suites La Hacienda is ideally located only a short walk from a variety of unique shopping centers, local restaurants and the vibrant culture of Puerto Escondido. Self service continental breakfast is offered. It’s clean it’s ordered it s beautiful, with good taste and lots of greenery. Swimming pool is clean and quite long for laps , not too crowded , good polite crowd no big loud Americans . Perfect just perfect
