Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. This was really a flawless hotel. I was looking for a heritage hotel and this fit the bill. Stand outs were the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, all of them! The location, the breakfast which offered perfect variety without being an overwhelming buffet, the rooms, the coffee machine and cleanliness were all excellent.

The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 30-minute drive away. The bathroom solution in a wide balcony - superb. Room was very spatious.

Noordin Mews is situated a 5-minute walk from Komtar and 1st Avenue. Heritage Area is a 10-minute walk from the hotel while Gurney Drive is a 15-minute drive away. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel has a lot of charm and the staff is really really friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend this place! Thanks!

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. Fabulous place to stay in a wonderful location. Very friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. Best leg of our trip. The hotel is simply gorgeous. It has the loveliest historic architecture and feel despite which they have ensure modern facilities like good air conditioning, hot water, etc. My favourite part of the hotel is the library / study on the mezzanine floor. Breakfast and food in the hotel was delicious. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, took time to explain all the sightings and road maps to us.
