All in all it’s a very calm and relaxing hide out on the shore of Koh Chang with plenty of other dinner options close by. They also offer complimentary kajaks.

Hotel provides a shuttle boat to the beach in 3 minutes. The place is old but well maintained. I loved spending time at the restaurant by the side of the estuary and both the pools. The room was nice too.

The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated.

The rooms are very well equiped. You find a safe, a big wardrobe, a desk, a fridge, a big mirror and a comfy double or twin – beds. You have the possibility to cook tea or coffee. Drinking water is provided every day. We had a great time here, the ladies at the reception desk are very kind and helpful especially the young lady called Kip, she is the sweetest receptionist ever. :)

Well maintained, great staff, very fair prices for additional services like motorcycle rental. Has a nice slice of beach , which is not guaranteed at some of the hotels. Plenty of restaurants just around the corner b Motorbike or songteaw. The pool was great too. Really liked the whole design.
