I initially chose Wib Guesthouse because of their free airport pickup and drop-off service. ​However, upon meeting the owner, Haile, who picked me up at the airport, I realized that he is a wonderful storyteller and provides travelers with a lot of necessary information, And he is also a person of great human warmth and charm. ​The guesthouse has a courtyard in the middle, which was excellent for meeting other travelers, sharing stories, and exchanging information. ​I stayed at this guesthouse twice. The first time was because of the airport shuttle service, but the second time was purely in anticipation of seeing Haile and meeting the other travelers. When I arrived for my second stay it felt like coming home. ​This is a rare guesthouse—a place that has a lot of advantages. I strongly recommend this guesthouse.

This guesthouse truly felt like home. Daniel and his staff were all over the top accommodating and welcoming, that we extended our stay and even came back to stay after we left Addis Ababa. The location is closer to the airport and has tons of cafes and restaurants and little markets around. The cafe/restaurant has a nice menu as well for a decent price. If there was any trouble with the rooms or transport, they were more than willing to accommodate. This place made our experience in Addis 100 times better. Thank you!

I initially booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6 nights. Property is in the 6th floor without elevator with beautiful rooftop views in a nice area in Bole, Addis. Room is clean washed white duvet and sheets. Kitchen area has everything I needed for preparing light meals. Owner in Germany was helpful and speaks English. Arrange if you have late flight.
