Perfect location. Oreliane and her niece Maylou were charming and extremely helpful. They replied to messages immediately and provided a long list of restaurant and visit recommendations. The location is perfect for visiting the Basilique and is a short walk into the old part of Lyon. The uphill walk to the apartment is a bit sporty, so bring your walking shoes!

Excellent location to historic part of Lyon. Be prepared to take quite a few stairs to get to the apartment - a historic building that doesn't allow for the addition of an elevator. If you have mobility issues, this isn't the place for you. Apartment was modern and well organized; stocked with linens and cooking materials should you want to cook your own meals - which would be insane given the city's historic food culture and excellent restaurants around every corner. Be careful to check your receipts at the restaurants before you pay. On one occasion we were charged for an extra glass of wine and in another situation our set menu choice was listed as a 4 menu dinner instead of the 3 menu dinner we had - perhaps an honest mistake.
