I'm so glad I chose this home stay for my trip in Srinagar. It was such a lovely stay. The room was immaculate. TV had Netflix and Amazon prime ready to go. Air conditioning was perfect. The host was an absolute treasure, even took us to get an oil change for our motorbikes. The food was immaculate and more than edible. Private secure car parking in a safe area. He can organise tours as he is very in the know for his area. I can highly recommend this place as a safe base to explore.

Basit the hostel manager went beyond to arrange for a driver and communicate in English as middle person for my trips to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. He is reliable and responsible. The property is very reasonable for the price. The rooms and toilets are neat. The place in Raj Bagh is a 1km walk from Polo View market and 2.5km walk to Dal lake ghats.

Set in the tranquil Nigeen Lake, New Jacqueline Heritage Houseboat (NJHH) is a true gem in Srinagar. This property is very clean, well maintained, and beautifully adorned with traditional Kashmiri interiors. We were treated to great hospitality by the owner, Mr. Maqsood his son Sami and their entire team. Special mention to Muneer for taking good care of us and our needs during our stay. We are vegetarians, and the food served was to our liking. The views from the deck area are beautiful. I would recommend visitors to spend atleast 2 nights to soak in the experience. We will definitely visit this property again. P.S, If you get an opportunity to visit the houseboat owner Mr. Maqsood's residence, pls do visit to look at his collection of Kashmiri pashmina shawls, carpets, clothes, etc. which can be purchased a trip souvenir.
