Super nice! Very cozy and comfortable guesthouse, well-located away from the busy cliff tourist area (but still within walking distance). Our room was spacious, and the bed quality was excellent. The guesthouse is quiet and located just 1 minute away from the beach in a charming garden. Food is available, and laundry service is provided. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back if we return to Varkala!

What a wonderful experience to stay in a beautiful room with a spacious terrace in a lush garden. Also in the bathroom you had the garden feeling. Tastefully decorated everywhere. For breakfast you had the choice of 5 options every time. Always super delicious! Also for the fresh coffee (freshly ground coffee beans!). Quality in everything. And then the friendliness that we were allowed to experience: warm contacts! This quiet place, surrounded by nature, is also very close to the beach. Yes, we enjoyed it all the way! When possible we will definitely come back!

Our stay at Kerala Cottage was an absolute delight! This is closest that I have gotten to stay near a beach with the sea being just a few steps away. You can hear the sound of the waves inside the room. Far from the hustle bustle of town, this place is serene. Great destination for a dopamine detox. Really much value for an affordable price, great hospitality and very nice and rich breakfast. William is such a friendly, welcoming and helpful man. He organizes everything what you will need: taxis, tuktuks for sightseeing, train tickets, laundry. And all for affordable and honest fares. The place is close to the famos temple and only three minutes walk to a yoga school. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The room is very clean, comfortable, new renovated and modern.
