The hotel was amazing! A very sweet couple owning it. Very available and caring. We took the dinner option and they asked us before hand if we had some things we cannot eat which was super kind of them. The dinner was excellent ! A lot of variety, seasonal and very tasty food. Breakfast was also really really good. They also offer free shuttle service to and from the train station. We loves the fact that we could privatise the whole onsen for ourselves and the massaging chair in one of the onsen. We had an amazing stay, would definitely stay there!!

The hostess, Takasan, is so down to earth, organized, nice, and fun! The main common area is wonderful, allowing local and international guests to mingle. There is also a small bar right in front of her kitchen. The food warms you up (I am travelling in winter.)

Onsens, Fantastic Food, Snow Monkeys - What more could you ask for!
A short walk from the Yudanaka Station, this is a perfect little spot.
We chose to stay in the Japanese room, very comfortable with a gorgeous garden view where you could sit and forget about the world.
The breakfast and dinner were absolute highlights of our stay. The breakfast was an amazing selection of many dishes beautifully presented using local ingredients. I loved the watercolor-sketched menu, which provided a unique and artistic description of each dish.
The dinner service was equally impressive. The lovely staff were attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our specific requests, ensuring a truly personalised dining experience.
The staff at Kamei No Yu were exceptional throughout our stay. They were so incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests. We were particularly touched by the staff's attentiveness towards my mother, demonstrating a level of care that truly meant a lot to us. Tomo, and the ladies were incredibly patient and helpful.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private onsen session. What a treat afetr a cold day exploring. Relaxing and rejuvenating experience, which I had one at home.

The food was good and the staff were very friendly. Our room and bed was very comfortable and the private onsen was a very nice experience. They picked us up from the train station, free shuttle to and from snow monkey park and kindly agreed to drive as all the way to Nagano station which really helped us a lot.

The atmosphere, the spa, the friendly owner who speaks fluent English!
In the case of this accommodation, I can only praise it. The biggest surprise was the owner himself, who was very welcoming and willing to us.
It happened to me for the first time that my own name would welcome me next to the entrance!
