Great location. A wonderful family running this small hotel. Breakfast was lovely, sat on the beach. There is a nice restaurant next door for evening meals, but you are pretty close to lots of other restaurants.

This is one of our favourite hotels in Sri Lanka. The layout of the gardens, between the sea and the lagoon, is magnificent. Geoffrey Bawa chose this spot very carefully and the new wings have been integrated well. Even if there are many guests, you can still retain a certain privacy because the grounds are so extensive. We particularly enjoyed a curated tour by Sanduni de Fonseka who has specialised in the work of the Bawa brothers and the art works on display - by, amongst others, Laki Senanayake and Barbara Sansoni. High-quality food. We have been to this hotel several times, and our overall experience, as always, was excellent.

The place is located right on the beach. Superb view especially from the room on the second floor, but ground floor views is also amazing. Very quiet over night, super noise isolation. Recently built(or seriously renovated). The family that is running this place are unbelievably helpful and kind, and will make sure your stay is maximum comfortable for you

It's a must stay hotel you need to go in Bentato. Very new , nice, clean, very good food, amazing staff. For sure it's one of the best we ever stayed❤ ♥ fully recommended 👌 👍 👏

The couple that hosted were amazing, very welcoming and kind. The breakfast that is included was excellent with omelette and fruit and yogurt and juice and toast and local Sri Lankan breakfast stuff and pot of tea or coffee. The bed was large with its own mosquito net and the sheets were good quality and clean, and the pillows were good and the bed was comfortable. The shower was excellent and enclosed with its own prospect store, but it was a large area that was enclosed. The bathroom was a good size.

Our hosts were very caring, offering us tea or coffee in the evening. If you needed a tuk tuk to take you a kilometre or two from the villa, it was free service. The breakfast was a wonderful variety and scrumptious. The room was immaculately clean and had air-con.The short cut to the beach, down an alley and across the railway lines, had us there in 5 minutes. If you get the opportunity, drop in to Tuna Turner, where you can use their pool and sunbeds if you spend 5000slr. They even supply pool towels.

I rate a 10/10, because you can't put more, Cause it really is one of the few places that I have felt like home. Both Nelson and Alex, have been super attentive at all times, and their hospitality (also of their staff) have been truly charming. I want to highlight two things that we loved, the pool in the middle of the rooms, and above all Mr. Chef, Nelson himself is a spectacular cooker. It is also really appreciated the great attention they have given us at all times. Being away from home and being able to stay in places like this is really satisfying and comforting. If we return to Sri Lanka one day, we will surely stay at La Perla

Dear Nishanthi and Wasantha. You are the greatest hosts we’ve ever met! All the credit for our amazing holiday must be given to you as it was the first place we stayed during our travel, and the vibe you shared with us didn’t leave us up to the last day in Sri Lanka. Your attitude is incredible. We felt like being at home. The way you met us the first day (with flower garlands which smelled like heaven), the way you treated us during the stay (ready to help with literally anything we needed) - everything breathed love at your house. Your attitude really exceeds all the expectations. To those who are considering a stay at the place, please, don’t hesitate. This is going to be an eye-opening experience to what a 10 out of 10 is. No, this can’t be 10. We would give the hosts 10 times more if it was possible❤️. As for the cleanliness - it was incredibly spotless. This was the cleanest place we had ever visited throughout all our journeys. As for the breakfasts - oh, this was something unbelievable. Everything was so tasty, served so neatly. And the balcony, where our breakfasts were served, overlooks the lovely garden, so you can see some lovely birds, squirrels and enjoy the sounds of them while having your breakfast. They give you a small bag where you can put whatever you haven’t eaten, so you can take it with you to the beach or put it in the fridge (the room facilities are also provided) and eat it later. Another thing, which is worth mentioning, is the fresh flowers arranged around the room and on the balcony. So the place smelled so fresh, so nice. You can really see that they pay great attention to detail. Regarding the beach, it’s a three-minute walk from the house and you are going to be really surprised in a good way as it is not crowded at all and, as a result, very clean. So you can enjoy your time at the beach with no plastic thrown around it. There are also good cafes along the beach with quite affordable prices.

A very cute property in Bentota. The resort is really amazing, worth staying. The beach is just a small walk away, crossing the rail path- which gives another wonderful experience. The food is simply amazing.. The best we had in our trip to Sri Lanka. Special mention to the wonderful Chef and all the staff for the wonderful hospitality

Great place to stay. Spacious room and very nice swimming pool overlooking the beach. We had a great dinner and they prepared us a huge Sri Lankan breakfast.
