Stay was luxurious and allowed us to prepare meals rather than eat in restaurants. The building and unit have good security. Short walk to nice beach “Balneario El Escambrón.” (Walk to right as you exit the building, then turn left on C. San Agustín.) Excellent beer and wine at Ambrosia Fine Wines https://ambrosiafinefoods.net/ a block to the right as you head out the main entrance, at intersection of C. Martín Fernández. (It recently opened so it’s not on Google Maps.) It was an easy cheap Uber to the cruise port.

Attractively located in the center of San Juan, Romeo Hotel LGBTQ has air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a terrace.

I want to start off with the host , Rosemary! My goodness she was amazing !! She was so kind from the moment I booked this property to the day we checked out ! She was so attentive , quick to respond , you can tell she really cares for the guests & their happiness! She would check in & gave us a list of food recommendations. She was also always available, wasn’t hard to reach her at all. This villa was a perfect location for a Puerto Rico trip. There was two beaches walking distance to our hotel . There are many food options walking distance as well! Everything is pretty close as well as Old San Juan so Ubers & taxis were pretty inexpensive. The property has 24/7 security, so I always felt safe & secure . The room was very clean , fully stocked for the entirety of the trip. Also the view was greattt!! You can see the city & views of the lagoon. I really enjoyed my stay would definitely recommend!!

The place was so well maintained, beds were huge for hostel standards and even though there was a tropical storm hitting the island during my visit, the staff was super nice and tried to make us feel comfortable in any moment. If you plan to work as well, they have an amazing coworking space with good internet and coffee. I will repeat for sure!
