The location was very handy, few minutes stroll from Orchard Road, nearest MRT Station either Somerset or Orchard. Welcome at the hotel was immediate, from well-trained reception staff to very helpful doormen. Attention by the staff member who checked me in was exceptional, making me feel very happy and welcomed. Hotel room and corridor(s) newly refurbished to good standard. Bed was a little on the firm side, room amenities thoughtful and furnishing all looked brand new; nice attempt at nouveau art deco in style. Gym rather small, probably fit just 2 occupants re Covid precautions, and pool area was clean, compact and not as plush as other newer hotels, but done up adequately considering this is an older refurbished hotel. I would stay here again just for the service.

Everything!! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Design and luxury throughout with a very personal touch. Super-friendly, professional and well informed staff. Wonderful breakfast and delicious canapés included in the price. Great infinity pool in 12th floor which is big enough for a proper swim, plus decent gym. Large, quiet, comfortable bedrooms - even with a choice of pillows. convenient for MRT

We stayed as a family with children and couldn’t fault the hotel. Our young daughter became ill and the staff were so helpful assisting in extending our stay, providing assistance with medical aretention and providing additional housekeeping during the night. Prior to that the facilities were excellent, the pool area is lovely and has great poolside bar. The buffet breakfast at Prego restaurant was delicious, plenty of variety and all fresh and good quality. The room was very comfortable, very well appointed and clean. We stayed on the 20th floor and the room had a very big balcony and view to the bay and of the Singapore flyer. Loved the smart lighting feature, automatic curtains which open when you enter the room and chilled filtered water dispenser. The hotel location is very convenient — easy walking distance to the Merlion Park and Esplanade, Haji Lane and Sultan Street, Clarke Quay and multiple shopping centres. The hotel also walks directly through into Raffles City with has many dining options and high end shops.

Very good location, walking distance from everything, but not crowded, nice amenities, food available 24/7 - very useful for jet-lag :). I extremely enjoyed the normal balcony on the 20th floor with fresh air and nice views! I think it's a good idea for all Singapore hotels to have more services to fight with Jet-lag, most of visitors are coming from the west and have about 7-8 hrs diff with Singapore, we could not sleep before 5am at all. So i would prefer breakfast till 3 pm, or the pool working all night. Just as advice. :)
