The location was at the heart of the old Phuket town, it is quiet, the staff are nice, everything was clean and well-organized.
I'm pretty sure you won't get a better option around at this budget.

Blown away. History and atmosphere of this place is hard to describe. Used to be hostel where you could stay for 1 bath back in the days. Everyone visiting Phuket should stay at this hotel at least once. I know we will look no further if returning coming to Phuket again.

Consider yourself lucky if you come across this spot and it’s available. Beautiful, tranquil boutique hotel—just like the photos. Host is lovely, everything was very clean, bed was comfortable. We stayed in the “aqua” room—very spacious and gorgeously decorated. Love the quiet block it’s on, yet so very convenient to shops, cafe’s restaurants. Great if you have a car and can travel to the beaches.
Definitely make a stop at the crepe stand at the end of the block, you won’t regret it ;)

The Beanstay hostel is fantastic, I really enjoyed my short stay here. The decor is beautiful, the rooms were clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. The pillows were so soft.
The staff were really friendly and they make a great coffee

We had a two bed apartment facing the courtyard. Very clean and super quiet considering the busy street outside. It’s a very walkable area. The night markets are literally around the corner. Nice to have a living room to relax in. As well the hotel had numerous seating areas in the lobby and courtyards where you could grab a coffee or work comfortably. Staff were very friendly.
