Everyone was nice and helpful. I felt safe during my whole stay there even though I was travelling alone and it was my first time in NYC. The kitchen is huge with a lot of utilities and everything you might need, I also liked that you can leave something and mark it with the provided stickers “free food”. I attended the comedy show two times on my first and last night - they were free, but the comedians were cool and overall the atmosphere at the hostel was very friendly. I appreciate the opportunity to leave your luggage after you leave the room, so you can explore the city. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready and they took my suitcases to the storage for free.

We loved this hotel; we felt so comfortable and at home there. The location is ideal for museums, walks in Central Park or the Riverside park, and there were great restaurants and shops nearby. The small kitchenette had just what we wanted. The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful too. We shall definitely stay there again if we return to Manhattan.
