This was our second stay at The Wallace and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Beautiful boutique hotel in the quiet Upper West Side, close to Central Park and easy subway access. The addition of the Wallace Lounge , an atmospheric bar and lounge with live jazz most nights and lovely bar food is great.

I had an absolutely amazing five night stay at the Hotel Beacon. The hotel is somewhat iconic in NYC and this is reflected in everything one experiences while there; it’s run like a well-oiled machine. Check in smooth, efficient & friendly as were all the staff in the reception area. Extending my reservation was a breeze, with the reservations manager (Dawn) going above & beyond the call of duty to assist in finding me the best rates possible. Even the housekeeping staff were outstanding. The rooms are surprisingly well-sized, well-equipped and offer the added benefit of a little kitchenette which goes such a long way in saving on meals. The views are breath taking! The hotel has the most ideal location being two short blocks away from an express subway station & with a bus stop a half a block away. The upper west side of Manhattan is wonderful in that it has a neighbourhood feel, while also having an endless array of restaurants to choose from, being two blocks from the glorious Central Park & two subway stops from Time Square. I highly recommend Hotel Beacon and wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for making my stay so memorable.

Location and property are outstanding. The staff were warm and friendly, even when they were not talking directly to guests. David checked us in and was a big help with a professional demeanor. We only wish we had more time to check out the bar and bakery, but people looked to be enjoying themselves there as well. Highly recommended for a short stay in NY.

Room was big enough for 2 people, bed was comfy, the location is right across the street from central park and the staff was amazing. They kept our bags for super cheap, and let us stay for a long while after check out to charge our phones in their computer room area. I will 100% stay here again.
