My stay at Idou Malabata was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and upbeat. The entire team exudes such positive energy—every staff member we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile and an uplifting attitude that made a real difference. A special shoutout to Sahar at reception and Oussama, the manager. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth went far beyond what I expected. They truly made us feel like a valued guests, and their personal touch added so much to my stay. The breakfast buffet was another highlight—absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh, flavorful options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect way to start the day with also an outstanding view over the beach Between the exceptional service, cheerful staff, and top-notch amenities, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Idou Malabata to anyone looking for a stay that’s both comfortable and full of heart.

Exceptional hotel just in front of the wonderful Tanger Ville Station. Big, clean and quiet room, excellent staff. We had a wonderful stay in this wonderful city. Highly recommended.

The service was amazing from start to finish. We were welcomed by amazing staff and taken to our room. The view from the room was mesmerising and a special way to start my honey moon. We ended our stay with an amazing breakfast bought to my room by a member of staff.

The hotel is in a great location, nearly at the eastern end of the beach. The views of the city, of the mediterranean sea and of Gibraltar (Jbel Tarik) are phenomenal and just that is worth every penny. The staff at the reception were lovely. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. They took care of us from the very beginning. Coming from an 8 hour plane travel and an additional train ride, I appreciated their concern to our fatigue and how they made every effort to accommodate us directly upon our arrival. Breakfast buffet has everything you could want or dream of...the custom made omelettes are amazing and it has everything from fruits to sauciges to vegetables. Everything is self serve, but also the table service was appreciated and truly is that of a 5 star hotel, if that is what you require. The servers are polite, curteous, and steadfast in taking care of the patrons. The pool is great in size, beautiful to the eye and great to swim in. It is cleaned every morning at daybreak and I could see they do it throughly for hours, until the first guests decide to take a swim. Security is provided by a reputable international company and is 24/7. At the front gate you can tell no one who has no business at Mogador is kept at bay. Even taxis or food delivery men are kept at arms length to protect the guests. The back gate provides a near direct access to the beach and a security guard there is always present to let guests in or out and make sure no one else enters the perimesis. My wife and I felt very safe. Also the military is stationned right across the street, that proximity would provide additionnal safety and peace of mind for any guests. Our room had a great view, great balcony, great facilities and was of great comfort as well. The beds are gigantic, the showers and bathrooms are modern and classy.
