Glamping Sites in Hvolsvöllur

The tent was easy to find and cozy! Host gave us instructions and although we arrived late we found it easily! Kitchen was amazing!

Very kind owners, we had a long conversation about Iceland with the lady (greetings!), who also gave us some directions. The place in May was very quiet. Milk, cereal and noodles were available. It is surely worth driving from the main road.

Igloo looked really cool. Bathroom very comfortable. We noticed so many birds through window! Beautiful sunset 😍

fun experience, nice to sleep under the sky. common facilities are clean and have all you need, we managed to make bbq and to properly have breakfast, used the fridge etc a person met us and showed us around hot tub worked, also nice waterfall is very close! we forgot about it, but loved actually seeing it on our way

We had a wonderful stay at this unique dome house. The place is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully surrounded by nature, with adorable horses nearby that made the atmosphere even more special. The host was very welcoming, and everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The dome itself was cozy and relaxing, and at night we could enjoy the sky and even a few stars through the clear panels (no aurora during this season, but it must be magical when it appears!). Inside, the accommodation was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: a microwave, Nespresso machine, small refrigerator, sink, plates, cutlery, and more. It was the perfect combination of comfort and nature, and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Iceland.
