This was honestly one of the loveliest guesthouses I have ever visited. The hosts created an exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and they seem to run the place with big hearts. It felt like coming home. We had a beautiful room with luxurious beds. Everything was very clean, and there was quiet during the night. There was a very nicely decorated and spacious lounge with a bar for guests. And a lovely and peaceful garden. It was possible to make tea in the room. The breakfast was excellent. Probably the best pancakes I have ever eaten. Location is excellent. We also got lovely recommendations for places in the nature to visit, and got the spend the evening swimming under the Eas Chia-Aig waterfall and in beautiful Loch Arkaig. Thank you so much for this lovely stay!

So I booked a night at the Whispering Lodge as a splurge for our UK road trip. I was a little nervous leading up to our stay because I was worried the place wouldn't match the pictures. Boy, was I wrong! If you are wondering if the stay is worth the price, the answer is yes. The location is just as gorgeous as the pictures and the view from the room did not disappoint at all. The rooms themselves are also decorated to match the highland atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the Pebble Beach and that we could go down to the loch. We LOVED our stay.

The people were beautiful, so accomodating and wonderful and I wish I had’ve stayed longer. The room was comfortable and clean and really homey, and everything was exceptional. There’s view from my window of Ben Nevis was incredible and the location is really ideal. It was the highlight of my trip and if I’m ever back in that area I will be staying here

Pleasantly surprised as knew we had a room & shared kitchen, but both were great. Kitchen had a washer & drier as well as cooking facilities. All fairly new & very clean. Room comfortable.
