The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The shower and bath were excellent and the toiletries provided were very high quality. We had a wonderful sleep and the included breakfast was cooked to order and a real bonus to the stay. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, quality, affordable hotel.

Safe classic car parking with great ease. Beds were very comfortable. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lovely area to walk around the park before settling down for the night. But OH WOW! The dinner was delicious - chef was very accommodating for my diet.

In the picturesque town ideal for leisurely walks, Salamander Guest House is located just a stroll away from all major sights and close enough to dash back for a sweater when it gets chilly. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. We were so glad we followed all her advice about dinners and breakfasts. She even made sure we attracted as many butterflies as possible with her grapefruit-scented shampoo.

The property is outstanding with its original deco! I lived looking at every bit of built, furniture, and ornaments. The staff very helpful and nice. Location perfect for a good rest on a road trip with private parking and hassle free but yet very close to town!
