The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !

Lovely little place to stay, close to downtown Windermere with plenty of food, drinks, coffee. The room was comfortable. Perfect place to stay with our large dog. Very cute decorations. Easy to get in with the lockpads.

Less than 20 minutes’ walk from Bowness Bay, Denehurst Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898.

Excellent overnight stay here. The room was comfortable. The made to order breakfast was delicious. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. We were given a route to take on the way out of the area that was spectacular.

The breakfast was excellent lots of gluten free options. Rich the host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Lake District . He always had time for you to chat about the best restaurants etc .Very enjoyable stay definitely stay again. Rooms very comfortable clean . The place is situated in a perfect spot right in the middle of Windermere.

I spent a fantastic time in Briscoe Lodge, the environment was much better than I imagined, and the room as well as bathroom was extremely clean. The breakfast was nice with variety of food and drinks type for us to choose. The landlord was particularly friendly to us, including booking taxi, introducing sightseeing points and moving luggage’s for us, etc. The location was convenient with approximately 10 mins walk from train station.

In the beautiful Lake District, just a short walk from Windermere, this luxury bed and breakfast has beautifully appointed rooms, all with a modern, original bathroom and free Wi-Fi.
