The location was good. We had the top floor family room which had the most beautiful picture windows overlooking the water. Other than not having a shower, it was perfect. We did not miss the shower since we could use one downstairs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location, remote enough to recharge and see the aurora, but close enough to a few attractions that you can pick and choose based on the weather conditions. The owners were very nice and gave us some great recommendations on what to visit.

Location is great, check in was easy, kitchen had everything you might need. The place is far from light pollution, i could easly see northern lights and SAR arc.

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.

Set in Kjósahreppur, 45 km from Thingvellir National Park, Hvammsvík Nature Resort has a private beach area, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access.

It was the last place for me and my family before leaving Iceland and we are really happy we chose it. The views are amazing, house was comfortable, it was a really warm welcome from host. Also you have chance to meet the horses. Also location is great if you want to visit west part of Iceland

This is a wonderful place to explore the area of Akranes. About 20 minutes off the city, settled in a beautiful landscape, the house is very spacious, very comfortable and particularly well equipped. We stayed there with our two kids and the house was more than enough. The outside hot bath is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a good day. Although we didn't meet them in person the hosts were very friendly and responsive to any question we had.
