I loved how quiet it was, and it was easy to navigate to the center of Reykjavik from there. It’s also close to local super markets for groceries, with a very njce restaurant at the bottom, (that we enjoyed thoroughly)…and that pastry shop, oh my gosh, that was nice!! We also made some good friends there! Carlos made sure we were happy all the time, so thank you so very much!! It was always near and clean. Always loved coming back from our adventures out and about, to our warm snuggly beautiful accommodation!

Freya Guesthouse was comfortable and well situated for the tourist attractions of Reykjavik. The neighbourhood is quiet. The host is on site and easy to get ahold of. The kitchen was comfortable. The bathroom/shower was basic but good enough.

The staff was really helpful, they immediately answered the phone and helped us whenever we needed. The jacuzzi and the sauna were amazing with a really nice view. We saw a glimpse of the northern lights from there:)

Really great location close to cafes, bars and restaurants. Really easy check in and check out. There was access to a kitchen which was really useful. We were also able to leave our bags once we had checked out.

Great location, near the centre, but still quiet without noise. Nice communication and clean bedroom and bathroom. I really recomend it :-) There was also a storage for luggage that we used, because we arrived to Reykjavík before the check-in time. There was coffe, tea, sugar etc. in the kitchen, also nice and clean.
