Everything was perfect, the room was huge (with mount Fuji view), shower was great and everything was clean. Very close to chureito pagoda so you can go early in the morning and avoid hours in line for the view. Good for the price, and we were able to leave our luggage before check-in.

Friendly and helpful host Hiro, easy communication in English. The hostel is cozy and charming, home-made breakfast is very nice and the common area is pleasant to spend time in. The location is quiet and the guests in the hostel are understanding and respectful of each other.

The staff was very welcoming and also gave us our room 4 hours before the check-in time. Fascinating traditional style. The guest house is run by a kindhearted family that makes you feel like you're at home. They also have rental bikes for a cheap price (500¥ half a day, 1000¥ full day) and it's super convenient if you want to explore the surroundings like Kawaguchiko or the famous pagoda that you can reach in 10/15 minutes by bike. The location itself is very quiet and it makes for a perfect escape from the city.
