Skoura was the biggest surprise of our trip to Marocco and the Heritage House was the highlight of our experience! Nadja and the baby Ali grated us like family: lots of tea, food, stories and laughter. We spontaneously decided to do the cooking course as well, and it was the best decision ever: the love of Nadja for her culture was immense and still move us to this day. We will surely be back!

The customer service is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. The highlight for me was the fantastic swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hotel's serene and peaceful atmosphere is a welcome respite when traveling between cities, making it an ideal spot to take a break. The meals were a delightful surprise – dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but also showcased the local flavors. A generous welcome with tea, nuts, and dates set a warm and inviting tone. One of the unique aspects of this place is the beautiful garden with fruit trees that you can pick and enjoy at your leisure. It's a lovely touch that adds to the overall experience. For those who are interested, there are animals at the back if you want to explore, which can be a fun and educational experience. This is a stunning small hotel with beautiful gardens and 7 rooms in the heart of the Skoura palmerie. Run by a Belgium woman and her French husband and with friendly local staff. Meals are excellent. Trips with local guides are worth doing. And they can organize trips further afield (they booked a desert camp overnight for is). I visited with my 11 year old son who thought it flawless and especially loved the semi-hidden retreat areas with rugs and cushions in the garden and on the roof. The animals in a corner of the garden and the pool are also great for families. We particularly enjoyed the guided cycle ride though the palmarie, stopping off at a tiny pottery for some hands-on clay throwing (small tip expected)

Its my 4 visits to Skoura n 1st time stay at Skoura Lodge. The rooms are very unique n spacious. We had dinner there n we entertained with local musicians, pleasant music. The owner Abdou very friendly & accomodating n so are the staffs. I will definately stay there when in Morocco next visit
