All staff were so welcoming, kind and attentive. The place is beautiful and cosy. For those who are seeking a peaceful and quiet stay, this is perfect. The location is also ideal to adventure to beaches and natural parks. Definitely recommend this place!

The owners of the B&B were simply amazing. Kind, gentle & helpful :-) The location is perfect for peace & quiet.... away from the hustle and bustle of the "touristy" Flic en Flac area. It was a cool & calm place to rest & recuperate. Everything one needs for a comfortable stay is provided - a full kitchen & a lovely cool patio by the inviting swimming pool (I had the bottom unit for my 8 day stay). The walk to the beach is quick, safe & easy & the delicious boulangerie is just around the corner for fresh croissants & delicious coconut cake. Everything one needs is within a short walk from the house - restaurants, home-made gelato, the "shoppie" (where the helpful owner advised on the purchase of my data for my stay) right next to the bus stop (to Quatre Bourne & Port Louis & Cascavelle Shopping Centre). Just a tip....rather shop at Winners in Cascavelle SC, because the supermarket in Flic en Flac is very expensive & very busy with long queues & understaffed at the tills! A very big thank you once again to Vimla, Pritam & your family for a lovely stay ;-)

There are plenty of options to dine nearby and there is also a store (Jumbo Express), a clinic, etc. Vanessa is an exceptional host: kind, attentive, knowledgeable… She works hard to make this place a paradise! Great modern Bali style interior design, which I personally love compare to other properties around there. Pictures are true to what you’re getting! You get lot more than a hotel room, with mini-fridge and cutleries for the occasional snack in the room. Cute shared little garden for a morning coffee. Host was extremely accommodating and they helped out with any request I had. Reliable internet connection for Mauritius, it helped me go through hours long video conference calls. Parking is a few minutes down the road in a secured area. You’ll need to communicate and plan check-in / checkout, which is typical for individually owned properties. Overall this is great value for your money.

It was nice to stay in a residential area, with a beautiful view of the mountain. The grounds for the Guesthouse are very leafy and it does feel like you are in the rainforest almost. Breakfast was nice and generous, we really enjoyed it each day and it was a good chance to meet the other guests from around the world out on the beautiful veranda. The pool is excellent with nice sun loungers and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and we had plenty of towels.

The hosts have been generous with advice and experience support, while also kind and active involved in making us comfortable at all times. They proactively provided catering for our nutritional requirements and we really appreciated the dinner together with a lively community experience, very tasty and inclusive. In general the guesthouse offered a good welcoming environment, the rooms especially were spotless clean. We loved all the pets! All the cats and dogs are super well behaved and quiet and we enjoyed their cuddles.

Cody is a great host that will provide you will optimal assistance. The team as a whole is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Le Gite is located in a peaceful area with lots of greeneries in its surroundings. The guest house has great facilities and services. We had a great experience at Le Gite du Bonheur and we recommend.
