On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

First, we simply loved Bhaktapur! We were nicely welcomed to Milla's guesthouse, and honesly the place is a jewel. (I could easily live there!) The room nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the caretaker offered to guide us through the old city, it was a beautiful experience. At night we went for dinner at Tusa, a culinary experience by passionate restaurateur. (minutes away from the guest house). Breakfast was a delight!

The room is beautiful and comfortable! There is a wonderful terrace on the building where you can relax in front of a magnificent view of Bakhtapur. The staff very friendly and helpful, not only for the room. They gave me a lot of suggest about the city, transports, food and other more from their heart. Such a lovely hotel. It's obviously a budget hotel at this price but we were made so welcome and comfortable by the amazing owners. The hotel is just minutes from all of the attractions. Breakfast on the rooftop with it's amazing views was plentiful and varied each day. Constant WiFi and hot water. No hesitation recommending this delightful hotel.
