Very lovely place. Its quiet and the views over Funchal are beautiful. The towels and linen were neat and clean. Its a detached room with very optimized use of space. There is even a micro and fridge with ample utencils. Coffee and cakes are also provided in the room, that's a very nice touch.

Solar da Bica is a cosy and tranquil retreat. This comfortable guest house faces the mountains and has green natural surroundings. The Solar features accommodation in rooms and an apartment.

Very beautiful and clean house with spacious rooms and super friendly staff! Also it is perfectly located for the hikes in the area, there is a super market and many cool local bars nearby. Very nice family hotel with kind staff and very clean! It is very close to the beach and you can listen to the waves from your bed! There is also a common balcony that offers amazing views of the black beach, sea and the city. I would recommend!

The accommodation has basic things you need, but it is enough. We stayed there 7 nights and we loved it. Frederic is one of the nicest hosts I have ever met. The bathroom is cleaned every day. The room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. We had a nice and pleasant stay 😊

Especially the host was incredible, super nice, helpful and frendly. Also, the price for value is pretty much the best out there on Madeira and since most people rent a car there, it is fairly close to Funchal. Definitely recommend strongly!
